Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Scrum Master with +3 years of experience to join our Data and Analytics team in Porto.

What we offer

  • Become the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management, and analytics processes. 

  • Lead your team in creating the pipeline for Data management, data visualization, and analytics products, including automated services, and APIs.

  • Working with Data Scientists to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualization.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner in finding techniques to define the product goal, prioritize product backlog items, its dependencies, roadmaps, and reporting.

  • Training, mentoring, and supporting the organization to follow agile values, principles, and practices.

  • Coaching the team members to clarify their desired outcomes and ensuring that events and meetings take place, are productive, and are kept within the timebox.

  • Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solution.

  • Proactive in identifying and mitigating issues, risks, and dependencies.

  • Monitoring progress, performance and helping teams with continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed.

  • Helping teams improve their ways of working towards better value sooner by adopting an incremental approach.

  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

  • Shaping experiments and larger changes for clients to implement as part of a wider transformation journey.

What you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years of experience with IT project management & delivery, in an agile environment.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.

  • Certified in Scrum or Agile methodologies (e.g., PSM I, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist).

  • Previous experience with Kanban method, mapping and optimizing workflows.

  • Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps and related tracking tools.

  • Proven records of using performance metrics (Burn down, Burnup, Flow Efficiency, Lead Time, Cycle Time, Impediment Resolution Time).

  • Knowledge in facilitation tools such Miro, Whiteboard or others.

  • Mediation skills to resolve conflicts and promote team’s psychological safety.

  • Work alongside project and product teams on continuous improvement in order to deliver value and not just deliver software.

  • Ability to foster a collaborative and open communication environment within the team.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Willingness to travel for business meetings, as required.
