Lead Azure CloudOps/DevOps

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Lead CloudOps/DevOps to join our data and analytics team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of professional experience in Azure.

What you will do

• Work within a team of world-class engineers and data scientists.
• Establish and maintain infrastructures, which are critical to make data-driven decisions.
• Design the platform infrastructure, network and security.
• Help keeping our data platform online and operating at full efficiency.
• Operate with open source platforms, enabling you to drill into any new technology, in no time.

What you’ll bring

• Previous Cloud/ML/Data/Dev/ops / IT experience.
• Experience with Unix / Linux and network fundamentals.
• Scripting and Programming skills (we use Python).
• IaC experience (preferable Terraform).
• Experience developing software implementing API functionality using REST, Thrift, JSON or similar.
• Experience using configuration management software.
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Experience with systems, IT operations and process re-engineering.
• Experience with Azure and its data analytics components.
• Experience with Hadoop and its components.
• Strong knowledge of automation and open source tools.
• Experience with R&D agile methodologies.
• Perfect communication skills.
• Hands-on experience.
