At Adaptfy we are looking for a Senior HR Advisor with + 6 years of experience for a full-time position to join our Global People Function team in Amsterdam.

What you'll do

The Senior HR advisor for Adaptify will report directly to the Adaptfy CEO but will have close interaction and collaboration with the Global HR Lead of our joint venture partner - Metyis.

In this role you will be responsible for setting up HR for Adaptfy. This is a new role within our growing and enthusiastic team. Adaptfy shares an office with our partner Metyis in Amsterdam where we work together with circa 200 colleagues.
With our growth within Adaptfy, the HR function is critical to our sustainable success. Whilst many things are already developed and implemented by Metyis, there is still a lot for you to do. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make your mark and to have a far-reaching impact.
Ideally you will have a passion for people, collaboration, making a lasting impact, and finding innovative ways to further enhance HR in our fast-paced professional services environment.



In your new role, you will: 

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with Dutch labor law requirements and acting as an internal consultant
  • Develop an HR strategy for Adaptfy in co-creation with Metyis including for example building a competency framework, create strong company values, work on employer branding
  • Develop, revise and implement HR policies and procedures in line with global policies specifically for Adaptfy
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business objectives, challenges and culture to effectively align HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Develop, coordinate and recommend changes for the improvement of workflow in HR operations
  • Coordinate and/or work in special and cross-functional project teams, and / or international HR Projects


What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, master’s degree advantageous
  • +6 years of professional-level experience in human resources, leadership experience in international organizations preferred. We also value experience in other scale-up environments
  • Relevant knowledge of Dutch employment law
  • Experience in or affinity for consulting and professional services fields is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, both mandatory.
  • Excellent people, interpersonal and customer service skills – ability to create quality connections with diverse individuals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal with complex issues in a confidential, professional, and sensitive manner, whilst aligning with all relevant stakeholders
  • Flexible mindset, self-starter and comfortable with uncertainty
