Metyis is growing! We are looking for an Integration Lead with 3-7 years of relevant experience for a full-time position to join the Technology team at our Digital Campus in Porto.

What you will do

  • Data Validation and Quality Assurance:
    Validate incoming Parquet files in the o9 Azure tenant to ensure schema alignment and data quality.

  • Data Transformation and Preparation:
    Use o9’s UI tools to configure and apply final transformations, including field mapping, normalization, and creating calculated metrics.

  • Data Integration with the o9 Digital Brain:
    Configure and manage data ingestion pipelines, mapping data to relevant entities, hierarchies, and planning models within o9.

  • Automation and Monitoring:
    Automate recurring data tasks and set up monitoring dashboards to track data flows and detect potential issues.

  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    Work closely with HUGO BOSS internal data engineering teams and internal solution architects to ensure smooth data handoff and alignment with business requirements.

  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
    Maintain documentation of data workflows, mappings, and best practices, and share knowledge with team members


What you will bring

  • 3-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred).

  • Familiarity with SAP data (BW, S/4HANA) is a plus but not mandatory.

  • o9 Platform: Experience with o9’s UI-based tools for data ingestion, mapping, and transformation (or a strong willingness to learn).

  • Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and related workflows.

  • Data Formats: Proficiency in working with Parquet files, schema validation, and managing schema evolution.

  • Data Quality: Strong understanding of data quality checks, troubleshooting, and resolving inconsistencies.

  • SQL and Python: Proficiency in SQL for querying and transformations, and basic Python for pre-processing or automation tasks.

  • Data Integration: Experience mapping data to entities, hierarchies, and planning models, with a focus on master and reference data alignment.

  • Monitoring and Automation: Ability to set up monitoring dashboards, automate workflows, and detect issues in data pipelines.

  • Kafka (Optional): Familiarity with real-time data ingestion and event-driven pipelines using Kafka or similar platforms.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business planning processes (e.g., supply chain, demand planning) and translating them into technical workflows.

  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Documentation: Experience documenting workflows, data mappings, and best practices for operational continuity.
