What you'll do
As a Product Manager for our eCommerce website and app, you will lead strategic and tactical initiatives to enhance customer experience, drive engagement, and increase conversion rates. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and data analytics, to build and deliver features that align with our business objectives and deliver significant value to our users.
- Manage, prioritize and own the product roadmap with the intent of creating seamless, best-in-class experience for the customer on platform / product to deliver the overall strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams to evaluate, prioritize, and finalize product backlog planned for current and future sprints in alignment with future vision of platform and strategic goals of business.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose areas for enhancement in your product.
- Communicate critical prioritization and decision-making updates across all involved stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the product team.
- Research, define and determine industry wide benchmarks, bringing insights on trends, innovations, and best practices in e-commerce technology to guide the platform management and enhancement.
- Encourage and facilitate new ideas for process and platform improvements, ensuring a focus on scalability, flexibility, and customer-centric features.
- Act as a subject matter expert of the platform(s), collaborating with different teams and stakeholders to support them with relevant business configurations and align on product features being developed.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant degree in e-commerce, digital media, computer science, engineering or economics.
- 4-5 years of working experience in E-Commerce with a thorough understanding of eCommerce websites and business models.
- Knowledge of processes needed to run a small/mid product team as a product owner.
- Experience in working in an agile team using Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Understand the basics of e-commerce platforms, Confluence, Jira tools and reporting.
- Experience in developing digital products (including app).
- Ability to prioritize topics independently.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
