What you will do  

We are looking for a GCE Business Test Manager (m/f/d) in the Global Customer Engagement department who will ensure that the GCE Customer Data Platform (CDP) meet business requirements and objectives. 

Key Responsibilities regarding Customer Data Platform processes:

  • Responsible for establishment of standards and procedures for testing products to determine their quality and readiness for release

  • Define and execute test structure, processes and test documentation standards 

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases tailored to address specific business needs and use cases

  • Conduct end-to-end business testing to ensure seamless integration and smooth workflow between various system components and departments

  • Create, prepare and execute testing data and test cases, ensuring all test results are documented accurately

  • Plan and execute regression tests, ensuring that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities 

  • Develop and maintain a tester training and train testers and create and maintain Release documentation to be understood for different company levels

  • Perform and manage Functional and Integration testing with third parties via agreed test plan and ensuring defects/issues are resolved by third parties within timeline

  • Collaborate closely with IT, ECOM, key users and product owner to understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria 

  • Coordinate BUG fixing from BU side and provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress, issues, and resolutions

  • Data quality tasks: including data crosschecks and data management with other platforms

  • Monitor and report the status and progress of each test phase to different stakeholders and test coordinator and assure test quality

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, business best practices, and emerging technologies to propose innovative testing approaches (e.g. incorporate automation testing strategies) 

  • Ensure thorough process documentation

  • Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference 



What you’ll bring  

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or economics

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a business test manager with a strong understanding of business processes and workflows

  • Experience in test planning, execution, and strategies with a strong understanding of test management processes, automation, and best practice

  • Ideally experience in the area customer data management processes and system landscape  

  • Previous experience in Customer Master Data Management, Customer Relationship Management and Loyalty is a plus

  • Proven knowledge of Test tools, ideally knowledge in Azure DevOps

  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems  

  • Ideally experience in automated testing tools and frameworks

  • Effective communication with the ability to liaise between technical, business & management stakeholders

  • Fluent in English 

  • Strong structural and organizational skills
