What you will do

We are looking for a Senior Director of Technology with 12 - 16 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore.


Main Focal Points:


  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the technology strategy for the e-commerce domain, aligning it with business goals to ensure scalability, innovation, and market competitiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with top-level executives such as CEOs, CTOs, and CIOs, providing insights and recommendations on technology-driven business strategies.
  • Will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the clients.
  • Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing technical team, leveraging your personal network to attract top talent and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Business Growth: Play a pivotal role in business development by pitching to potential clients, participating in proposal creation, and helping secure new projects.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of e-commerce projects, ensuring that technology solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Technology Roadmap: Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that supports the company's business objectives, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and innovations.
  • Collaborate with Partners, to formulate and deploy long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective solutions and communication technologies to wider group.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor for key clients, understanding their business needs and proposing technology solutions that drive their success.
  • Direct research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the seamless integration of technology with business initiatives.
  • Review performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.


What you’ll bring

  • E-commerce Expertise: 12 - 16 years of extensive experience in the e-commerce domain, with a deep understanding of the technology and business aspects that drive success in this space.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading large, diverse technology teams, with a focus on mentorship, team building, and talent development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities, craft compelling value propositions, and contribute to business growth.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on development experience, with a strong understanding of modern e-commerce platforms, cloud infrastructure, and software development best practices.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute a technology strategy that supports business goals, drives innovation, and ensures long-term success.
  • Network and Influence: Strong industry connections and the ability to leverage these to attract talent, forge partnerships, and drive business growth.
  • Adaptability and Versatility: A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C2 - Native level).
