UXUI Designer (Fashion)

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a UXUI Designer with 3+ years of experience to join our Marketing and Design team, in Porto.

What you will do

We are looking for a midlevel UXUI Designer to join our E-commerce team.

• You will be integrating a multi-disciplinary international team of designers and developers working on digital product solutions for within the fashion industry.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and design solutions.

• Conduct User Experience design programmes and User Interface design systems, from wireframe to pixel-perfect components for development.

• Liaise with project and product management, and provide direction, guidance, and expert advice on design,.

• Cooperate with project and product management to scope, estimate, and plan new efforts.

• Work closely and assist the development team to ensure thorough design handoff and quality assurance.

• Have ownership of the work you develop and the responsibility to work independently.

• Work alongside junior colleagues, which will allow you to improve your leadership skills, and senior co-workers who will advise you on your further career development.

What you’ll bring

• Overall 3+ year’s experience(minimum) as a UXUI designer.

• Good knowledge of UX methodologies and tools

• Elaboration of UI, usability and comparative assessments

• User research, proto-personas and user journeys

• Content strategy and information architecture

• Wireframe, mockup and prototype

• Creation of design systems

• AB testing

• Good analytical capabilities

• Proficiency in Figma

• Problem-solving and creative thinking

• Prior experience designing eCommerce solutions (Web and APP)

• Knowledge in HTML/CSS

• Professional proficiency in English

• Teamwork spirit and an open minded mindset

• The ability to and manage time independently

• Ability to engage with external stakeholders

• Good communication skills (both verbal and visual)

• A curious and interested mind with attention to detail

• Accountability and adaptability
